The MM2H visa can be renewed every 5 years, ensuring long-term residency in Malaysia.

Open to individuals aged 21 and above.
 

House Purchase
Each participant is allowed to purchase residential houses valued above RM500,000 – RM2,000,000 depending on the state. There may be changes with individual states. NOTE: Property purchase is compulsory for the MM2H visa.

Children MM2H participants are allowed to bring their children who are below 35 years old and not married as their dependents.
Foreign Domestic Helper Each applicant can apply for one maid subject to the prevailing guidelines of the Immigration Department.
Tax Tax Exemption is given to remittance of offshore income and pension funds into Malaysia & any other foreign funds transferred into Malaysia.
Business & Investment MM2H visa holders are generally permitted to own and operate their own business as company directors without requiring a local Malaysian partner, subject to applicable regulations and approval. Specific terms and conditions may apply.
Working MM2H visa holders are not permitted to be employed by a Malaysian company unless they apply under the Platinum category, subject to specific terms and approval. However, working abroad or working remotely is allowed.

  • Interest gained from bank fixed deposit is tax exempted
  • Your parents and parents in laws can also join you as dependents under a renewable long-term visa
  • No currency exchange control
